Dear Parents and Guardians,

This letter is a follow up regarding the student incident involving Mountain Valley School that has recently been in the news.

We would like to once again reassure parents and guardians that the Moffat School District takes the safety of our students and staff seriously.

We have been in constant contact with Mountain Valley Administration, and the Sheriffs department during their investigation of the alleged threat towards the Mountain Valley School. We can assure you that at no time has there been any evidence that the students or staff at Moffat were in any danger or harm.

We know that in our community rumors tend to spread quickly. We wish to again reiterate that the Moffat School community was never in harms way.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety of our entire school community.
